Overview
It runs the back office of a jewellery shop. The owner sets the day's rates once: type the 24 carat price and every other carat is worked out, alongside silver purities, platinum and the dollar rate.
Purchase bills are entered the way jewellers actually trade: by item group, purity, pieces, gross and net weight, making charges and GST, with settlement across sales, advances, cheque and cash. The dashboard tracks sales, purchases, fine gold in stock, payments due and stock value by metal, and user rights control exactly what each staff group can see and do.
At the counter, sales staff use the Estimate app: scan or type a tag number, pick the item, and the app prices it from the live rate with making charges, GST and any discount, then saves it and shares or prints the estimate as a PDF.
